Llyn Maelog

Is the lake at the edge of Rhosneigr, it is a gold award reserve for wildlife and has a thriving bird population. A popular spot for bird watchers and anglers. It is also is ideal for beginners in wind surfing and for when conditions at sea are a little wild. The lake is large, access is good and there is ample parking on the roadside, a short distance from the shore.

There is a footpath right around the lake which will take about 40 minutes to walk.

There is a board walk for the first 300m which is wheelchair and pushchair friendly
